April 2018 — Burlingtons “Everybody Loves a Parade” Mural is located on Leahy Way on Church Street. It has drawn controversy for its lack of diversity and stereotypical representations of some communities. There has been effort among members of the community to alter or take down the mural. The artist believes that it represents the demographic of Vermont and that more murals should be added to tell the whole story. Quotes from artist and other information reported by vtdigger.org.
