The state of Vermont and the University of Vermont are often thought to be a place of inclusion. However recent incidents of racial bias on the University’s campus have prompted a UVM staff member to start a hunger strike and the student collective No Names For Justice to organize. On February 23, students and faculty gathered to protest, calling for President Thomas Sullivan’s resignation. Multimedia Reporter Sawyer Loftus traveled to the protest to hear from these voices of dissent.
