15-Apr    WF: Philippines    ALANA Student Center    7:30 PM        A short presentation will be given on the culture of Philippines.  A film will be viewed and discussed afterwards.16-Apr    Good Asian Drivers    L/L Fireplace Lounge    9:00 PM        The Good Asian Drivers broke into the national spotlight in 2008 when slam poet Kit Yan and songwriter Melissa Li launched an unforgettable cross-country tour, playing in over 30 states in 12 weeks. Together, this performance powerhouse emerged from their breakthrough debut as one of the most electrifying artists of their generation.  This event will be held as a part of the Rhythm and Brews Night in Living/Learning. A film will be viewed and discussed afterwards.22-Apr    Bone Marrow Drive    Davis Center Tabling    noon-5 pm        On any given day, more than 6,000 men, women and children are searching the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) Registry for a life-saving donor like you. These patients have leukemia, lymphoma and other life-threatening diseases that can be treated by a bone marrow or cord blood transplant. For many of these patients, a transplant may be the best and only hope of a cure. Have you signed up to be a donor yet?  This is a very simple process–a couple swabs inside your cheek.  With your help, more people will receive a transplant. And more families will have a future filled with hope. So register to be a donor today! 24-Apr    Asian Fushion Dance Party    Davis Center Livak Ballroom    9:00 PM        The “Afterparty” for the ALANA Community at the end of this semester but open to all. Come dance to a fusion of Asian and American Music!2-May    Study, Relax and Tea Time    Downtown at Sapa Tea House     3-5 pm        Need a place to study and relax during finals week?
