Dear Mr. Fogel:As a student I felt threatened by your recent email regarding the annual celebration of 4/20. I hope it is not the intent of the president of my university to threaten students, as this appears to be an ethical violation.I feel as an educational institution the University of Vermont has an obligation to uphold students constitutional rights of free speech, regardless of the content of said speech.I understand the ramifications of public smoking on campus at 4/20, but I would also like to remind you of the monies paid out last year for the illegal arrest of student protest orginizers.A tuition paying student [email protected] cc: UVM Cynic
