Ratatat to rock the green

There’s no need to worry. After speculation that UVM’s Springfest might be in the Patrick Gym, SA Concerts announced that a chance of rain will not prevent Ratatat and company from performing their electronic beats on the CBW green. Ratatat, a New York City electronic music duo made up of guitarist Mike Stroud and synthesizer producer Evan Mast, their Web site states, will headline UVM’s Springfest which begins at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.     Ratatat will have an entourage of openers, featuring the 10-piece psychadelic afro-beat Rubblebucket Orchestra, Montreal-based DJ Killa Jewel and Burlington-based DJ Mike Device.     Tickets are still available at the UVM Ticket Office in the Patrick Gym and at the SA Concerts Office in Room 311K in the Davis Center. Tickets cost $5 for all college students and $15 for the general public.
