Sports (basketball) internship

Dear opportunists or basketball enthusiasts: Breakdown Magazine is offering an online internship for this summer. It is a high school basketball magazine that is currently well known in the state of Florida and now it is trying to really break onto the national scene. In the near future, Breakdown Magazine will re-launch its website that will now cover high school basketball from coast to coast. Our interns will cover high school basketball wherever they are located in the country, mainly for our online publication. This internship will not take up a lot of time, therefore it could be done in addition to if a student has an internship or full-time job lined up already. An intern will likely be devoting anywhere between one and seven hours per week, unless a student has more time – that’s it. We really are looking for those students that want to have some fun this summer covering the sport that they love – basketball. If you are a hardcore basketball head that also happens to be a journalist then don’t hesitate to take advantage of this opportunity because it will certainly help your career. I see it as a win-win situation for the student that likes basketball and is trying to find some more opportunities to slap on his or her resume. You can e-mail me a resume and three writing samples to me in the form of an application. The deadline to apply is April 21, but send your stuff ASAP if you’re interested. If you have more questions about the internship then let me know via e-mail. I can certainly take more than one student from your student newspaper, so spread the word about this opportunity. Sincerely, Ibram Rogers Editor In Chief Breakdown Magazine
