I take exection to Ellen Dobb’s statement that many people volunteered for military service after 9/11. As old as I am I remember clearly that there were no increases in elistments reported by the military. As far as this “war” goes–to participate in American imperialism and colonization of the world starting with Iraq is a contradiction to every principle this nation was founded upon. The American public must be very careful concerning who and what they are patriotic to… A true patriot is only partriotic to the Constitution and those politicians who follow their oath of office in support of it.
