For weeks now the Cynic has been publishing pieces of writing that are offensive to and violent towards women. As a woman on this campus, i find this paper disgusting and horrendously gender biased. It is bad enough that your weekly columnists seem to have some sort of “agenda” against women, but now you are publishing pieces that do nothing short of glorifying date rape and drug use. Exactly what is the cynic trying to say to the women and men on this campus? i’d really suggest some serious overhaul of your staff and some sensitivity training towards gender based issues before the start of next year.
