9/25/2009Women’s Soccer: Colgate 2, Vermont 0Colgate took the lead early, in the 12th minute and with an insurance goal at the 79 minute mark they were able to keep the lead and clench the win. This loss brings the Catamounts to 0-7-1.9/26/2009Men’s Soccer: Quinnipiac 2, Vermont 1The men’s team tried to come back in the game last Saturday. They scored at the 79 minute mark, but were unable to get the second goal for a tie. This loss brings them to 0-5-3 for the season.Field Hockey: # 10 UMASS 2, Vermont 1The Catamounts came out strong after halftime, scoring within the first three minutes, to tie it up. Unfortunately, UMASS was able to score once again to seize the win. 9/27/2009Women’s Soccer: Albany 1, Vermont 1 (2OT)Things weren’t looking so great for the Catamounts when Albany had the lead at halftime. However, the Catamounts scored at the 75 minute mark bringing the game to overtime. Neither team was able to score during the two overtimes.9/30/09Men’s Soccer: Dartmouth 3, Vermont 1With two goals before halftime, Dartmouth didn’t give Vermont much hope to come back. After scoring a third goal, Dartmouth secured the win. But Vermont got on the board, at the 74 minute mark with a goal off of a free kick. Field Hockey: Dartmouth 3, Vermont 2 (2OT)Both teams tallied two goals in regulation time, bringing the game into overtime. The first overtime went scoreless, but in the second overtime Dartmouth was able to score, and obtain the win.
