Alex Porier, Illustrations Editor
(He/him) Alex Porier is a junior anthropology major with a minor in sexuality and gender identity studies from Charlotte, NC. He started illustrating for the Cynic in the fall of 2023 and became the illustrations editor in the fall of 2024.
Alex has been creating art for most of his life and wants to ensure that during the rise of AI, human creativity is still given a place to be expressed. Outside of the Cynic, Alex likes creating all kinds of art from poetry to jewelry, playing D&D with his friends, and listening to music constantly.
