Through the lens: Halloween Barn

Flick is featured as a skier and is prepared for the upcoming winter months.

The Halloween Barn located at 500 Spear Street is an annual event that brings together students and families from Burlington and the surrounding area. The event features horses and their caretakers dressed up in matching Halloween costumes as they give out candy to children. This year it had a record-breaking attendance of 1100 people with funds going towards the UVM Horse Barn Co-op. If you missed this year’s Halloween Barn, try and catch it next year for a night filled with candy and adorable horses.

(She/her)  Annalisa Madonia is a junior majoring in public communication with a concentration in media and journalism from Wantagh, NY. She has minors in food systems, applied design and nutrition and food sciences. She joined the Cynic as a staff photographer her first-year before taking on the role of photo editor sophomore year and then became Managing Editor her junior year. Outside of the Cynic she is a staff photographer for The Community News Service at UVM and is on the production team for the UVM Program Board.
