Boss of the week: Johnny Manziel, who is being coined Johnny Football, is trying to do something never before seen in college football win the Heisman Trophy, as a freshman. Manziel has led Texas A&M in their first season in the SEC to a 10-2 record including knocking off previous No. 1 and undefeated Alabama two weeks ago. This past weekend, Manziel broke the SEC record for total yards in a season with 4,600, eclipsing former Heisman winners Cam Newton and Tim Tebow. All signs point to this years Heisman Trophy race coming down to the wire. With the continuing success of Notre Dame linebacker Manti Teo and the explosiveness of Manziel, we could see the first ever linebacker or the first ever freshman to win college footballs most prestige award.
