Erika B. Lewy

Erika B. Lewy has been the Cynic editor-in-chief since spring 2017 and a staff writer since fall 2016. She has covered campus and national protests, local breaking news and Burlington community events. Before transferring to UVM, she was an editorial intern at Philadelphia magazine and social services intern for Christel House Schools South Africa. Erika spent the first two years of undergrad as an Arabic and French student at UNC–Chapel Hill. While a student there, she worked as a programming and development associate with Carolina Performing Arts. There she developed a passion for fine arts programming, especially dance.Now a senior community and international development major at UVM, she spends most of her time sniffing out stories.
