After years of trying to get the perfect shot with anything that could take a picture, like my Nintendo DS, iPod touch and iPhone, I decided enough was enough.
I marched down to the Green Mountain Camera store and asked the employee what he recommended for a college student with minimal funding.
He directed me to the used camera section and said a Nikon D5500 would suffice. Without any further research or planning, a decision was made and a camera was bought.
I have no regrets and believe passion should carry more weight than a stable income, which definitely isn’t what I tell myself when I have to transfer money from my savings to my checking.
The pictures you’re about to see are all from my first week with my little Nikon, my new love, as I wandered around Burlington in a semi-creepy manner and pointed my camera at anything and everything that crossed my path.
