Attempted armed robbery near Votey
A white male described as wearing a black hoodie and jacket is the suspect of an attempted robbery that occurred Jan. 25 near Votey Hall, according to a UVM CatAlert sent out to students at 7:44 p.m.
“Another robbery could happen at any moment until they catch the suspect,” first-year Lizzie Leonard said.
Leonard added that after the robbery, she is scared to walk outside alone.
According to the CatAlert, the suspect was carrying a knife, but there were no injuries. UVM police are still searching for the suspect, and are advising students to walk in pairs or groups.
