UVM police has warned the UVM community to be on the lookout for an individual who made threats of violence against a Davis Center employee.

UVM police released an alert to the UVM community Sept. 28 via email seeking information about Jeffrey A. Stratton, a 48-year-old man. UVM police wanted to alert the community to the possibility of violence, the report stated. It is unclear when and where inside the Davis Center the event occurred.

Stratton is described as a white male that is 6 feet 1 inch tall, with a slim muscular build and gray hair, according to the report. Although UVM police said there is the possibility of violence, there is no known threat to the greater UVM community, the report stated.

Anyone with information relating to the incident or Stratton’s whereabouts is urged to call UVM police at 802-656-3473.
