To the Editor: Well, it’s a new semester and a new year. Did you make a new year’s resolution? How about pledging to help someone in need and learning more about yourself? Volunteers in Action (VIA) is UVM’s largest student volunteer service organization, with 15 different opportunities to get involved, ranging from seniors to youth, HIV/AIDS to English as a second language, homelessness to environmental action. The spring VIA info session is Wed. Jan. 22, 7 pm in Ira Allen Chapel. You can also check out www.uvm.edu/~service to learn more. Please consider giving some of your time to help others this semester.
