This Saturday, February 8th, the UVM Chapter of the Golden Key International Honour Society will participate in its annual University Students for Youth Day, done in partnership with the America’s Promise service organization. Founded in 1997 by General Colin Powell, America’s Promise sets out to build character and competence in young people through various service activities. The theme for this year’s service day will be “Helping the Homeless.” Golden Key is celebrating its tenth year as a part of the UVM community, and is inviting as many people to get involved in this service event as possible. To get involved this Saturday, please contact Golden Key service directors at aelawren@zoo.uvm.edu or rchriste@zoo.uvm.edu as soon as possible. Golden Key will be having a meeting of its full membership later this month.- Press Release
