Sophomore Luke Haddock will see justice with the sentencing of one of his attackers. Haddock was stabbed in the chest two times and beaten by two men on Nov. 7 during a robbery, the WorldNow and WCAX website stated. One of the attackers, Scott Whalon, 23, was sentenced to five years in prison, according to the WorldNow and WCAX website. He suffered a collapsed lung, head injuries and bruises during the attack, the website stated. The two men who attacked him, Whalon, and Mehmed Devac, 16, were caught on a surveillance tape on North Willard Street just before the robbery happened, according to the website. Devac is facing an attempted murder charge, the website stated.
