With elections right around the corner, vice presidential candidate Will Vitagliano shares his ideas and plans he has if he were to be elected. “I want students to know that [the SGA] is working for them,” Vitagliano said. Students are the best resource that the SGA has, and he plans to increase communication between students and senators, he said. “Having a personality that relates to students is more important than being an authoritative figure,” Vitagliano said. He plans to go and seek out the students who may not feel comfortable approaching an SGA senator, he said. “You’re not just another student in the realm of 10,000, but you are an individual,” Vitagliano said. Vitagliano was originally running unopposed, but last week Christian Matthews announced that he would be running a write-in campaign.
