The most egregious offense the writers of “Friends” ever made was letting Rachel Greene settle for Ross Geller instead of letting her find her true happy ending with everyone’s favorite Italian goofball, Joey Tribbiani. Joey served as her support system during her pregnancy- even going as far as to propose to her so she wouldn’t feel alone- and throughout the show he was always there to give her advice, a good time or a hug. The only thing Ross ever served as was a blueprint for what men should aspire not to be, and the only thing he gave Rachel was a reason to never trust an adult male ever again. To whoever signed off on not letting my boy Joey end up with the only woman he ever truly loved: va’fa napoli!
