Ace Sheehan, Co-Sports Editor
Ace Sheehan is a senior public communications major concentrating in community media and journalism, minoring in reporting and documentary storytelling. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Ace started at the Cynic in fall 2025 as a sports writer and photographer, and since January 2026 has served as co-editor of the sports section.
Within journalism, Ace is passionate about expanding diversity and inclusion in sports, especially the growth of women’s sports. From feature-length stories to game recaps, Ace enjoys any and all sports coverage, but they specifically cover men’s and women’s ice hockey. Occasionally, they dabble in podcasts and audio storytelling. Outside of writing, Ace is a passionate New England sports fan and avid iced coffee drinker.
