Today, April 22, is Earth Day. Despite remote-learning and stay at home orders, many of us are still finding ways to get outside and appreciate the world around us.

As part of Cynic Outdoors Week, we asked our readers and our staff photographers to submit photos from their latest outdoor excursions close to home.

We were sent photos from central Vermont, Long Island, NY, Danbury, CT and Merrimac, MA. The students featured below captured dogs, goats, hikers and waterways with their lens.
