Maxine Thornton is a junior English major from Nyack, N.Y and serves as the managing editor at the Vermont Cynic. She has been with the Cynic since her freshman year, starting as a features staff writer before getting to serve as features editor in the spring of 2023, eventually taking on her current position in spring 2024. In summer 2024 she had the opportunity to intern at Good Morning America as a part of their booking team booking guests for TV. In her free time, she enjoys making people play cards with her, cooking and fighting sharks.
