Recognition of College Diabetes Network
A bill recognizing the UVM College Diabetes Network was passed. The College Diabetes Network is a nationwide nonprofit organization that works to empower and improve the lives of students affected by diabetes through peer support and access to information and resources, according to their mission statement.
New funds for Crew
The crew team was allocated $7,000 to help fund a training trip. This trip to South Carolina allows the team to train in the water, which is too cold in Vermont right now, before the official season begins.
New Senator Sworn In
Junior Rosie Blick was sworn into the SGA Senate to fill a vacancy. She will serve on Committee on Diversity, Equity and Environmental Ethics.
