The cosmic calendar and climate anxiety

It’s easy to feel insignificant in a world with problems as big as climate change, let alone the vast universe beyond Earth. In this episode, I sat down with UVM senior lecturer and podcaster Jim Cooney, expecting to be a little discouraged about our tiny corner of the cosmos, but as it turns out, when I learned about the context of our existence, I also learned just how special each of us are, and how much we are actually capable of.
