#24 Lauren Wheeler — Women’s basketball

On Wheeler’s performance in Saturday’s 59-58 win over Binghamton.

Accomplishments at UVM:

Wheeler scored a career-high 22 points in UVM’s win over Binghamton Saturday, Feb. 12, leading UVM to its second straight road win.

This isn’t a surprise, as Wheeler has exploded her sophomore season for the women’s basketball team, posting a season average of eight points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal each game.

Previous Accomplishments:

As a senior, Wheeler served as the captain of a team that she led to four City Championships, three Zone Championships and a silver and bronze medal at the OFSAA Quad A Tournament.

She averaged 12 points, six rebounds and six assists throughout her career while also winning the national championship in 2006 and 2008 with the Ontario Provincial Team.
