Sam Litra, Social Media Manager

Sam Litra is the Social Media Manager for The Vermont Cynic. Now a junior health sciences major, he joined the Cynic in January 2018 as a staff photographer. He is a born and bred Jersey boy, but he calls Raleigh, North Carolina home. Currently serving in the Air Force in the VT Air National Guard, he enjoys the opportunity to work on the Cynic as a change of pace. He is a writer, yes. But he’s not a very good one in comparison to the staff writers. That is fine by him. As long as he can make others’ writing known he is happy.

Poet Matt Miller reads his poetry to an audience April 22 in the Fleming Museum. Miller’s poetry comes mostly from a parent’s perspective. He spoke about the horror of losing a child, the need to protect your kids and the happiness of parenting.
